RMJM provided structural and building services engineering for the seven independent but interlinked hexagonal tent structures that form the clubhouse, and for the adjacent outdoor swimming pool. Responsibilities included the design of all vehicular roads, pedestrian ways and hard standings including pedestrian and small vehicular bridges. In a separate commission the firm provided services on an extension to the golf course providing a further 18 holes that included the design and construction supervision of irrigation lakes including pump houses, decorative (saline ground) water lakes, fountains and water supplies along with electrical distribution systems that included practice range floodlighting. The scope of the project also encompassed many on-course utility buildings, including maintenance facilities and nurseries, cart stores and rest areas.
