Dubai Tower Doha is an iconic 84-storey mixed-use development and the winning entry of a 2004 international design competition. Conceived as a striking architectural beacon for Dubai in Doha, the tower’s distinctive form remained central to the design vision throughout the project’s development.
The tower brings together hotel accommodation, serviced apartments, offices, residential apartments, and retail space within a single high-end destination designed to support a live, work, and play lifestyle. Each function is carefully organized to promote connectivity between uses while maintaining the privacy and operational requirements of residents, guests, tenants, and visitors.
The complexity of the architectural form, combined with the varied requirements of hospitality, residential, office, and retail spaces, demanded a highly coordinated engineering approach. Working closely with the client and hotel operator, TJEG provided structural, civil, and building services engineering design focused on sustainability, energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, and long-term operational performance.
