Ted Jacob Engineering Group was commissioned to provide Structural and MEP engineering services for the Dubai International Convention Center development, one of Dubai’s major mixed-use hospitality and exhibition destinations.
The Ibis Hotel, featuring 420 guestrooms, forms an integral part of the larger DICC development, which also includes a multi-use exhibition hall, a 20-story office tower, a seven-story parking structure, and two hotels designed to support international business, hospitality, and event operations. The project was planned to create a highly integrated convention and hospitality environment within a prominent commercial district.
TJEG provided Structural and MEP engineering services for both the original development and the proposed expansion, supporting coordinated infrastructure systems and efficient building operations throughout the complex. The development combines hospitality, commercial, office, and exhibition functions within a modern mixed-use destination designed to support long-term operational flexibility, visitor experience, and the continued growth of Dubai as a regional center for international conferences, exhibitions, and business tourism.
