TJEG was appointed as the MEP and Structural Engineering Design Consultant for a five-star hotel development in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter for Saudi Hotels and Resorts Company (SHARACO). Located within one of the capital’s most prestigious districts, the project was designed to create a distinctive hospitality and residential destination that reflects the character and identity of the Saudi landscape.

The 40,000 m² development features a unique façade inspired by the natural forms of the region while also serving as an integrated solar shading system to enhance environmental performance and guest comfort. At the center of the project, an oasis-inspired podium creates a vibrant hospitality environment with landscaped gathering spaces, restaurants, and leisure amenities.

TJEG and the project team developed the project from concept through detailed design. The development includes 220 residential units together with 140 luxury hotel suites designed to support a high-end hospitality and residential experience. The project has received multiple award nominations recognizing its innovative architectural design, sustainable design strategies, and integration of contemporary engineering solutions within a landmark mixed-use development.
