The San Mateo County Health Center is a 200-bed hospital with a nursing wing, medical office building, diagnostic/treatment building, clinics, and central plant. The central plant houses a 1400-ton chilled water system, a 17M BTUH hot water heating system, medical air compressors, medical vacuum pumps, and medical gases. Electrical systems include 12kv power distribution with a 2400 KW emergency backup generator, along with fire alarm, nurse call and PBX systems.
